The Historic 4th Ward Skatepark had its grand opening on June 11th 2011, with a special guest appearance by Tony Hawk. The Tony Hawk Foundation made a donation of $25,000 towards the completion of the skatepark, and the Bird Man himself showed up to check it out. Thanks to the BeltLine and the City of Atlanta for giving us the citys first outdoor skatepark.
If you havent made the trip there to check it out, the address is 830 Willoughby Way Northeast, Atlanta, Georgia 30312. The park has lights till 11.00 pm and is free.

Florida Bowl Riders Cup 2012

For our last day in California, the Stratosphere team stopped by Berkeley to check out a vert ramp that we had heard about all week. While most of the team was too beat up to skate, Grant mustered up the energy to shred as usual. Thrasher was there to film a little, and today they released an edit. Stratosphere Skateboards is going to be hosting the 1st Annual Historic Old 4th Ward pumpkin carving contest. Thrasher Skate Rock China is going down currently, and Stratosphere team rider Pat McClain is along for the ride once again.
Skater Aid 2011
Thanks to everyone who came out last Sunday, yall made it a great success. In total we raised well over $25,000 to support families who are dealing with the tragedy of pediatric cancer.
Stratosphere team rider Troy Cobucci, stole the day, placing first in both the Kickflip Challenge and the Best Trick contest. Thanks to all the suporters, and Scott from Atlanta Hate Us for the additional footage. We will see eveybody next year.

Skater Aid this Sunday
This Sunday September 25 is 7th annual Skater Aid. Skater Aid is an all day event, come by and skate the ramps, check out the contests and maybe score some free stuff.
